Following the last performance of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew, in which the actors playing Kate and Petruchio, Anna and Jacky, as well as those playing Bianca and Lucentio, Miriam and Paul, who are involved with each other in real life as well, there is a lull before their next scheduled gig. Jacky and Paul want finally to become fathers, but that does not mesh with Anna's and Miriam's plans.
