The Shining Star's Courage

One of the short stories in this book goes like this: Once upon a time, in a faraway galaxy, there lived a little star named Cosmic Glow. Cosmic Glow was not like the other stars. While the other stars were content to stay in one place, lighting up the night sky, Cosmic Glow yearned for something more. Every night, Cosmic Glow would gaze down upon the beautiful planets that twinkled in the distance. Their vibrant colors and bustling activity fascinated him. He longed to explore the wonders of the galaxies, but his bright light made it impossible for him to approach the planets without causing them to burn up. Despite the challenges, Cosmic Glow refused to give up on his dream. One day, when all the other stars were fast asleep, he hatched a plan. He would borrow some stardust from the nearest comet and use it to cover his glowing body, making himself dimmer so he could safely journey through the galaxies. Excitedly, Cosmic Glow set off on his adventure. His journey took him through vast nebulas and past swirling meteors. Along the way, he encountered many curious aliens and friendly space creatures who marveled at his bravery and determination. As Cosmic Glow continued his spirited journey, he encountered a lonely planet on the outskirts of the galaxy. The planet was covered in darkness, with no signs of life or light. Cosmic Glow felt a pang of sadness deep within him, and he knew he had to do something to help. With a burst of energy, Cosmic Glow unleashed his brightest light. The darkness on the planet quickly faded away, replaced by a warm glow. Soon, plants began to sprout, and colorful creatures emerged, filling the planet with life and joy. Cosmic Glow's act of kindness touched the hearts of the planets he had encountered on his journey. Word spread throughout the galaxies about the fearless little star who brought light and life to a desolate planet. To honor Cosmic Glow, the planets created a new constellation in the shape of him, so that his bravery would never be forgotten. And from that day forward, Cosmic Glow continued to explore the galaxies, carrying hope and inspiration wherever he went. And so, the story of Cosmic Glow teaches us that no dream is too big, no obstacle too challenging if we have the courage to pursue what sets our hearts aglow.
