A picture is worth a thousand words, and when it comes to healing from physical or emotional problems, literally drawing out the problems on a piece of paper can help to heal the mind, body, and soul. And as a tool for healing, releasing pain and negative energy through art can help change the contours of a sometimes difficult daily life and shed light where it was dark. To draw out our negative emotions, fears, and pains is to help take them from within our minds, bodies, and souls and release them out into the world.
