The Secret Place: Becoming the Apple of God's Eye

I am Jackeline Alfonzo, a woman who is totally in love with God and living for Him. My faith in Him is one of my main gifts. In 2009-2010 I started to thirst and hunger for The Word of God. I also had some questions about life and I wanted answers, so I began to read the Bible. Over time, I started to tell God that I wanted to know Him more, and that I wanted to attend church where I could be helped to know Him better. I'd gone as far as I could on my own, so I needed help to continue growing in His knowledge. One day, I had an encounter with God that was so vivid and so real, it completely changed my life. I was sitting in front of my work computer when a brief "video" of my entire life, flashed through my mind. Each one of those events were good acts of generosity, collaboration, charm, and love I had experienced with my family, friends, co-workers; even people I did not know but for whom I'd done something good. Some of those memories I had forgotten until that moment when they came to my mind again. I was seeing and hearing in a new and different way than I had before. God was opening my senses! That was the beginning of my new relationship with Him, as He started to show me the Truth of life and love.
