Rizal exposed the cruelties of the Catholic Church and the Spaniards thus, cost his life. He was killed in front of the firing squad at Bagong Bayan. Dr. Napoli Fiatro St. Croix has boldly took one of the chapters, The Sacristan, augmented and modified the history with a twist and colorful illustrations. Again, the author requests the readers t o read in between the lines to understand the history.
