Ray Jacobs thought he could leave his past behind when he changed his name and moved far from the frigid Minnesota winters. His idea of starting a faith-based investment business has found fertile ground in Pecan Grove, Alabama. The town has all the elements Ray was looking for: enough wealth to support his business, enough Church-going people to listen to his message, and enough desperation to make people long for a miracle. But Ray's past refuses to stay in Minnesota. And some of his problems are new - such as the realization that he is falling in love with the beautiful Sarah Jane. Ray's charm and confidence are a match for almost anything, but when it is apparent that someone is out for his life, things take a different turn. Can Ray untangle the mess his life has become?
