Young Gabriel has found himself in good position within the court, as he aids the King as his counselor. Court life is everything he's ever dreamed it would be and he takes his position very seriously. When his younger sister Vaughn reveals her wish to come to court as well, Gabriel scrambles to thwart her dream of becoming a lady-in -waiting for her majesty, the Queen. After telling her that the Queen has no interested in her, Gabriel is caught off guard when he learns that that the Queen had become infatuated by Vaughn. Overcoming their sibling rivalry is only half the battle, as Gabriel and Vaughn weather the countless twists and turns that court life throws at them, and each new surprise leads to new revelations.
