The Practicing Bar in Bloomington, MN

Kidd Bruton, 25, a young public defender, falls under the spell of Callie Jackson, twice his age but still a classic beauty. She has been a lawyer for as long as Bruton has been living. Under her tutelage, he is catapulted to success and is assigned to lead a last ditch effort to save a death row inmate. When all else fails, he and Callie try a desperate ploy to delay the execution.
