When Merry Ernst moves back to her small town of Reindeer Falls, Minnesota, population 9500, it's with a heart broken by her Ex-husband, Derrick Edward Stone. She adopts Fido, short for Fidelity, a small fiercely loyal terrier.
"Time's a-wasting," Aunt Liz declares. She made a promise to Merry's deceased mother that Merry would be happily wedded by age 30.
