In 1919, John Wallace Suter and Charles Morris Addison published a study on the Book of Common Prayer used for the Episcopal Church, the main liturgical books used throughout Anglican churches in the United States. The Book of Common Prayer itself contains various prayers, such as Morning Prayer, Evening Prayer, the Litany, and Holy Communion, all of which are discussed here. Suter and Addison also included “Suggested Reading” sections for further study of the Book of Common Prayer.
