The Other Side of Funny: The adventures Of Abe the Space Monkey and Other Stories

Hello! I'm Abe. What? You never heard of me? Abe the famous space monkey. Why, my reputation proceeds me. Well. anyway, monkeys were the first in space. We were there before humans so we own it. We have been astronauts longer. So who better to explore it? To seek out new bananas? To fearfully go places others have never gone to? To seek out new sexy primates? So who else should do it? Why Me of course. But you know what? A magazine rejected my first submission. They said it wasn't funny enough. Well, I read what they call humor and they are the ones who don't get it. In my stories, I parody classic SyFy. Just try to identify all the references. Some references refer to two at once. Most are TV shows, some are movies, some aren't SyFy at all. I'll give a prize to anyone who guesses them all. I don't do political or social commentary that the magazines think passes for humor. I set off into the vast universe and gather some zany characters along the way. Join me on this ride.
