Few ships' passenger lists have survived from the seventeenth century, and those documents that can be found provide only a small sampling of English-speaking immigrants to America during this period. This work, originally published in 1874, and still the most important list of English-speaking immigrants ever been published, was transcribed from records in London by Mr. Hotten. The combined lists contain approximately 11,000 individuals, their ages, former places of residence, and the names of the ships on which they sailed. Paperback, (1874), repr. 2012, Index, 604 pp.
