The Old Homestead

The old homestead, neglected for a long time and abandoned since the last owner passed away, is like an eye-sore in the middle of the field. "It needs to be torn down," decides a neighboring rancher, a gruff man who served for ten years in the Marines. He wants to buy the property as he needs more grazing land for his cattle. "Not so fast," objects a young woman, heir to the previous owner, ready to move in. She is a city-girl from Pittsburg and doesn't know that to live through a Wyoming winter isolated on a ranch is not for the faint of heart. "It can be fixed," argues the estranged brother of the rancher. He is recently returned home after an absence of many years and probably his interest in the old homestead is only to antagonize his brother. Who will win this battle of wills?
