The Motor Boys over Ocean (Illustrated): A Marvelous Rescue Mid-Air

In , Jerry wants to make improvements to The Comet, their dirigible/airplane that will allow it to land on and take off from water: a "hydroplane," he calls it. But, before that can happen, Ned's father has some business troubles, and asks Ned to get help from Mr. Jackson, a millionaire and balloon enthusiast. When the boys get to the balloon carnival, they discover Mr. Jackson's balloon has been blown out to sea in a hurricane and needs help himself. Once again, the dauntless Motor boys don't hesitate a second, in a series of happenings as interesting as they are exciting, not the least of which is how they transfer Mr. Jackson and his crew from his balloon to the Comet—while in the air! Almost unbelievable.
