Begg
's uniform production. Drawing from such a diverse spectrum could make this kind of record confusing, but
has the experience to make it work. Such varying moments include
the Aspects
dropping in to
rap
on
"All Terrain Aspects"
and a sampled dance lesson spliced with
rhythms on
"Freestyle Disco."
"We Are Not a Rock Band,"
the first single from the album (which is strangely out of place as the last track), pays obvious homage to
Kraftwerk
, taking on vocoder and synth blips. With this kind of methodology, it seems that
