The story involves two main characters, an Irish archaeologist and a French police commissaire, and other associated characters, who find themselves involved in a bizarre conspiracy that seems to know no geographical bounds.
The story is full of action and no time wasting biographies of people's grandmothers etc.
No one goes running every morning, feeds cats or spends half the book in the shower!
There is help with french pronunciation in () after the words when they first appear. I hate reading books with foreign words and not knowing how they should sound!
This volume is the first of four, with possibly more!
