The Magic Willow Tree Forest: Bruce and Fionna

This book tells the tale of two friends, Bruce and Fionna. In the story, Fionna gets used to asking Bruce for favors, which makes Bruce tired. Bruce learns how to communicate with Fionna and to put himself first. The story is meant to teach children that its okay to take care of themselves before taking care of others. Moreover, the book discreetly exposes children to the topic of pronouns--since one of the characters is referred to by they/them pronouns.
