Gabriel, the lonely cloud, is given a silver- lining pen that allows him to help children see the bright side to their troubles. When he encounters Daisy, a child who is more in need of love and comfort than silver linings, he does the most powerful thing a friend can do. He stays by her side and offers empathy.
