This memoir is the heart and soul of a girl who basically grew up in a parallel universe created by her mother, an untreated paranoid schizophrenic. As a result of having to constantly prepare for battles in both spiritual & physical worlds, Kelly developed complex ptsd (cptsd). She suffered severe anxiety & bouts of depression throughout her teens & young adulthood. Finding her voice saved her life.
