The Life's Work of a Poet In Love

My father died and I realized I never really knew him. I had saved his poetry that was passed to me never having read any of them. Now, after 30 years I decided to put them all into a book. A large box of typed poetry with numerous copies of each, unsorted and just thrown in a box. With the help of my step-son, who meticulously sorted and typed, we published this book. This gave me the opportunity to read the poems and understand my dad's life a little better. As I used to say, he was a genius but crazy. I believe his poems reflect this. Some sexual, some express his hurt, many showing his addicting love. He won awards for some of the poems.
