The Lazarus Pool

Ghost, spirits, demons, the living, and the dead. Sam Morbeck attempts to secure a much-needed vacation with Elizabeth. Despite their instruction to combat stress, they encounter an increase of dilemmas as they meet new friends, foes, and associates in the secret organisation they perform work for. Not only do Sam and his friends devise ways to help the souls that require their assistance, they discover an out-of-this-world anomaly in High Wood's neighbour's cellar. Through the eyes of the living, we see couples caring for each other, and youngsters falling in love. From the perspective of the dead, we see longings and hopes. With the energy of the evil, we see hatred and destruction. In The Lazarus Pool, action, wit, and sentiment are shown with great precision, whether it be from struggling POWs in Burma, captive Jews in Auschwitz, or bumbling fools in the present. The Lazarus Pool is an intriguing and rich tale that continues Sam's adventures of faith and time travel.
