Cailean Ozean is born into leadership of the village of Elona, an isolated island floating in the sky. Elona is a simple town, filled with quaint folk and the promise of a peaceful life, but that offers no contentment for Cailean. He ventures into the forest neighboring the village and finds an ancient magic which breaks down the barrier separating Elona from an entire nation of floating islands. Having an adventurous spirit, Cail decides to venture out into the newly discovered world, but finds that it is covered in darkness which spreads to Elona, taking away his home.
