The Joy of Gus

In the Bible Jesus speaks to the people in parables to help them understand His meaning. This true story was written to show children how sometimes families change and with change comes new relationships. Ophelia, the newest member of the herd, struggles with moving from her home in Texas to Oak Mound Farm. Loving Ophelia at first sight, Gus patiently gives her the time she needs to adjust to her new home and to her new family. In the end, Gus and Ophelia learn with change comes new friendships and new beginnings.
