The suns of "Novas 9" and "Criticon 13" collide creating the negative axis wave. The Arker Fleet is sent to investigate the abandoned cross-galactic anchoring system. Upon their arrival they discover the negative axis wave is responsible for the disappearance of the planet's civilized society. The Intricate 8 gather after hearing of recent events on the planet of Ravas. Upon their arrival they find something much more dangerous than what they originally prepared for.
