Our hearts desperately need truth. "Who am I?" is a question that has pulsated with the beat of our hearts since our conception. It is a question designed to receive an answer. The truth of who we are is not defined by past decisions we have made, our family history, or our roles and responsibilities. The truth of our identity comes from outside of us-from a God who creatively designed us, passionately pursues us, and deeply desires a relationship with us. This identity is far richer and far more satisfying than what all the voices around us and inside us offer. And-the wonder of it-it is given by a God who speaks to our hearts individually. To you.
