A quick, easy read, The Half-Pint Houdini is a terrific way to spend a lazy afternoon or a long flight. Noted Private Eye, Cash Register, is surrounded by a cast of total nitwits, yet he always finds a way to solve his cases. In "The Half-Pint Houdini", Cash is employed by a four-foot, ten-inch mystic who thinks his wife has been kidnapped by the Spirits of the Great Beyond. Sure ... happens all the time! Cash's mom is convinced she's a reincarnation of Annie Oakley. His ditzy receptionist, Bridgette, is easy on the eyes but her elevator has yet to reach the penthouse. Throw in a green-haired punk rocker and an unfunny, nefarious clown and the mayhem only gets worse. It's a wonder Cash manages to maneuver through the distractions and insanity to get anything done.
