Written as a three-act play, the text stops and restarts itself. The narrative structure is dismantled while also driving the story forward. The play opens on the tourist beach of Port-au-Pleasure. The Doctor looks for a way off the island and a perfect object. A chorus of animals offer a small reassurance. Ways of knowing and not knowing surface and submerge.
