This book addresses the topic of suffering from the Word of God ALONE and through Christ ALONE. The focus is on the Lord Jesus' view on suffering, His purpose for allowing trials, and how He wants believers to respond to them. The emphasis is on the importance of disciplining ourselves to study the word of God, to learn the Person of Christ, and to depend on His character during trials. The Lord Jesus uses trials and afflictions to sanctify us and to conform us into His image. During trials, may we engage our hearts and minds on beholding Him. As we meditate on Him, may we learn His ways and His statutes. And may our sufferings result in worshiping the Lord Jesus in our hearts that He may be honored and glorified.
