The Forgotten Room

Jeremy Logan is an enigmalogist, an investigator who specializes in analyzing phenomena that have no apparent explanation. In The Forgotten Room, Logan finds himself on the storied coastline of Newport, Rhode Island, where he has been retained by Lux, the oldest and most prestigious think tank in America. One of Lux's most distinguished doctors had violently attacked an assistant and then killed himself, so the group hires Logan to look into the matter discreetly. In a dormant wing of the estate, Logan discovers an ingeniously concealed room that has been untouched for decades. The room is a time capsule of sorts, filled with eerie and obscure scientific equipment that points to a top-secret experiment known only as Project S and long thought to be destroyed. Ultimately, the truth of what Project S was--and what happened in that room--will put Logan on an unexpected path of danger.
