During the Summer of Love in 1969, Alan Hodgkingson was drafted. After basic training, he was sent to serve his tour of duty in Viet-Nam. THE FOREST OF DARKNESS is a gut wrenching account of how a nineteen year old managed to cope with the horrors he witnessed in order to survive during his stay in that war-ravaged country.
