The year is 1936, a young Austrian maritime officer is faced with a decision that will forever change his life.
The clouds of war are closing in all too fast. Leaving his ship without permission puts him on the run, away from a life he loved so much as a seaman! His destination now was to drive to Vienna Austria to collect his mother, his sister with her baby out of Europe. Along the way, he reunites with a longtime girlfriend in a romantic interlude in Innsbruck before arriving in Vienna. Setting off once again with his family members in his little car they embark on the long drive across Europe to Ostend, Belgium. Karl barters his car to obtain passage on a ship bound for Dover, England. His family now safe in England, Karl seeks asylum now sure what would happen to him. The British Intelligence Service interrogated him for three days. repeatedly cross-examining him till they were satisfied they could utilize his skills in the BIS. Karl eagerly accepts the opportunity to be part of the movement to overthrow the German Chancellor Adolf Hitler.
In his new role as an operative for the BIS, he is smitten by a very attractive BIS officer. Karl falls head over heels in love with this beauty. Their passion takes on new fire as they train to return to the European Continent as undercover operatives against the Nazi occupation.
