The Fish Princess

The children of the North Wales Africa Society came together with African and Welsh storytellers, singers and illustrators for a program of cultural exchange workshops. The result was a project through which the children themselves melded Welsh and Ghanaian culture to create a brand new folktale, brought to the page here by award-winning children's author Casia Wiliam and veteran multi-award-winning illustrator Jac Jones. A vain princess has been turned into a fish by a witch, but is there a way for her to be turned back? A mythical fantasy bridging two continents and brimming with animals and other colorful characters.For ages 7-9.
