She studied Education as a career path and has been in the field for the last 34 years as a classroom teacher and as a school administrator for the last 22 years. She holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Technology which she received in 2003 and recently (2022) received her Doctorate in Theology focusing on Christian Counseling from Northwestern Theological Seminary. Her dissertation was on faith and discussed the journey that is often captured in her writing. Ann Marie is the mother of two, Amanda and Robert and has been married to Mitch for 34 years.
