This book provides a gist of Śruti Gītā (also called Veda Stutiḥ, songs or praises by the Veda-s) verses in Sanskrit, their transliteration, meaning, and includes a few relevant quotes from the scriptures. These concise and difficult 28 Sanskrit verses, being the songs or praises rendered by the Veda-s (ancient Indian authoritative scriptures for the Hindu philosophy) to the Creator (Brahman), draw on the gist of the Advaita (monistic philosophy) from the Veda-s (particularly from the Upaniṣad-s within the Veda-s themselves), other scriptures, and texts. Advaita essentially states that Brahman alone is real and is the sole cause of the unreal phenomenal universe and all else is transient and unreal. This is why Śruti Gītā is a rare gift to mankind.
