Actor-director Perry King's directorial debut depicts the struggles of a ranch family living through a drought-ravaged Northern California in the mid-1970s. Perry King plays Sam Kincaid, an aging rancher who suffers from an ailing memory. When his estranged daughter (Sara Arrington) returns to the ranch with her young son, he is forced to confront an old family tragedy.
