The Curmudgeon, the follow-up novel to Ms. Tilda, completes the saga about the lives of Charlie and June, begins about two to three years after Ms Tilda passed. Charlie, too, has recently passed and his wife's niece, her husband, along with June's best friend, and John, Charlie's childhood friend, are preparing to attend his burial.
Through a series of flashbacks, each of them tell their remembrances of portions of their deceased friend's and relative's lives; not to embellish their accomplishments, but to gain collective closure to these important moments of their lives.
