Dan is shooting for first prize in the Christmas lights contest and, despite his involvement in an ugly scene at a Black Friday sale, it looks like he's going to win it all. At the peak of competition, an unexpected call from a long-lost uncle draws Dan down to the desert, far away from the mayhem of modern Christmas, to a place a little bit slower and a little bit more thoughtful.
