A disparate group of women join forces to restore a crumbling ancestral pile - with hilarious consequences, including frequent calls on the local helicopter rescue service, customs and excise intervention into murky dealings in the antiques trade, police involvement with grisly discoveries during the restoration process and dubious horticultural practises amongst the tomatoes - not to mention chaos created by the animal contingent and constant threats of disruption from the male of the species....!
