The Chaos Curse

There is an ancient and unpleasant curse; Sometimes, there is no escaping this curse. Sometimes, it's just the way it is. Sometimes, it's just life. Cathy woke up one day to discover that she had been sleepwalking through interesting times, and when she woke up to this nightmare, she was to realise that what she thought was her life was all a terrible lie. As she unravelled the first of the lies, she uncovered more and more fabrications, there were thousands and thousands of them, so many of them in fact that she found herself struggling to keep afloat in a roiling sea of chaos. All she had ever wanted was some order to her life and to be able to live it with precious little fuss and nonsense, preferably with someone to share the ups and downs, somebody to grow old with. She had wanted this and more for her daughter Grace, but we don't always get what we want...
