The Butterflies of the Imaginary Land

This book is the outcome of numerous years of work. I have been writing stories in Kurdish since my childhood - and for the last three years, I have been working on translating them into English. Apart from two stories: 'The Butterflies of the Imaginary Land' and 'The Wooden Ladder'. These two were directly written in English - which was a huge challenge for me. After only six months of living in England, I decided to translate my writings. Firstly, I thought it would be difficult as I was still learning and studying English as a second language at college. However, I believed that only the first step would be hard. When you are passionate about something or when you have a great dream, you must be persistent towards the goal. To me, writing is very distinctive, as I can express my deepest senses through my imaginary characters. I always wanted to become a writer, and it is my main ambition. This book is a combination of children's and adults' stories. I haven't tied myself to one genre, so you will be travelling from one to another.
