The first scripture I thought of was about the two disciples on the road to Emmaus. After Jesus was resurrected, He joined them on their walk. What He said to them made their hearts burn within them. Jesus' disciples, like Peter, Mary Magdalene, Joanna, and Mary, were astonished at the news and rushed to the tomb to see for themselves if it was true.
