One day a famous actress Sarah Smythe vanishes from her home in California. She is discovered by her long lost daughter years later in a hospital. Sarah now has dementia and suffers from severe memory loss. Her daughter Caroline now 53 suffers from a rare illness that is fatal and hopes to bring back at least one moment with her mother.
