Growing up, James always struggled to make friends here on Earth. But he was okay with that, because the one friend he did have enjoyed their adventures in the magical realm of Arthridall as much as he did. But one day she moved away for mysterious reasons, leaving him to chronicle everything they'd discovered there together on his own. Which wouldn't have been so terribly agonizing if he'd been able to share his real feelings with Amy before she'd run away.
