The Bouquet Race is part of a series on how to love African-Americans without innocuous abuse. This novel focuses on the long overdue healing of Brown people in America where they learn to disallow themselves to be "hit." And, more importantly, no longer "hitting" ourselves or each other for psycho-historical reasons many might not culturally be aware of.
