I've seen them around. Preppy, sun-kissed Californians zigzagging about Denver in funky Jeep Wranglers. Ignored them. Until one of them walks through the doors of The Metal House Auto Repair Shop. Sure, he's good-looking or whatever, but hideously dressed, a bit nerdy, and such a far cry from my type that it's not even worth mentioning. So why can't I stop staring? Captivated. Confused. And why does he keep staring? Like I'm a dream come to life. He offers me a deal too good to pass up, a deal that will get me one step closer to my dream to travel the world.
