This memoir is the account of two men from vastly different circumstances, who gave each other the gift of healing and love. One, a thriving artist from an affluent North Shore suburb; the other, a homeless African-American man, estranged from friends and family. The struggle to escape gang life, and become a part of society, and be worthy of love is the journey taken in this tale.
