In October 1997, all of the onions in Kula, Maui came together to witness the birth of one of the sweetest onions. The little onion was named "Sweety," because it reminded the other onions of how sweet life really is.
Sweety Onion was born with an adventuresome spirit and a zest for life that always had Sweety dreaming of the world outside the onion farm. Little did Sweety know that these dreams would lead to the greatest adventure yet!
With a goal of reaching the warm sand and the deep blue water that border the beach, Sweety talks to some of the older onions, who tell how to get on a truck that will take Sweety to the beach.
