This is the first story of the adventures of Henry Lee Turtle. In this story, Henry Lee Turtle lives at Lake Christopher with his family, uncle and siblings. Henry Lee is like all youngsters who are curious about their surroundings and the characters that make up their diverse world. In his travels, he meets someone unlike him. This someone is a Salamander who later, becomes Henry Lee's new friend.This book will teach children of all ages, the value of having a supportive and caring family, making new friends, and keeping promises.
