This volume describes the
scripta
used in Treviso in the first half of the fourteenth century, based on the study of different practical texts. The analysis of an accounting notebook allows for the first time to describe the more municipal variety of the Treviso dialect, while the edition of a handful of short legal texts helps reconstruct the characteristics of a vernacular influenced by Venetian.
