As Prince Charming's younger sister, Maxine is often overlooked and unappreciated. Accustomed to living in the shadow of her famous older brother, she keeps busy exploring the surrounding lands while avoiding boring royal social events. But when Prince Charming starts rescuing one girl after another, proposing marriage to them, and then breaking off the engagement only days later, Maxine realizes that somebody has to put a stop to the madness before her brother's antics start wars against the Charming Kingdom. Well-equipped with her wits, an unusual gift from her fairy godmother, and an extraordinary mode of transportation, she follows her brother on his latest quest to the faraway peaks in the east. Along the way, she encounters a host of people who may or may not be what they seem.
